"Felt Safe on the Route 66 Marathon Course"
I ran the Route 66 marathon and felt safe the whole way. Police and volunteers were easy to spot, which was reassuring, and the medical tents looked ready if anyone needed help. I actually saw med staff jump in quickly to help one runner, so that was good to see! The only minor thing was one crowded area near a water stop, but nothing too bad. Overall, it felt really well organized.

"Easy Packet Pickup with Friendly Volunteers 🙂"
I stopped by the Route 66 Marathon expo to grab my packet, and overall it was a smooth experience. The volunteers were super nice and helpful, which made things feel easier. A few of the booths were a little crowded, and I think the signs could’ve been clearer in some spots, but nothing too frustrating. Still glad I went, and it ended up being a good expo visit overall! 😊

"I spent a little more than I originally…"
I spent a little more than I originally planned, but it ended up feeling worth it. The race was a lot of fun, everything was really well organized, and the overall experience felt solid for the price. I had a great time and would definitely do it again!

"Registration Was Kind of a Pain"
Tried signing up on route66marathon the whole registration process was a bit of a pain in the ass. Some pages were slow as hell, and I had to keep going back to fix stuff because the instructions weren’t super clear. Then the fees showed up way too late in the process, which felt annoying. Like, just tell me upfront what I’m paying instead of sneaking it in near checkout. I did eventually get registered, so it wasn’t a total disaster, but it definitely took longer than it should’ve. Not the worst site ever, just kind of clunky and frustrating
"Confusing Signs and Long Bag Drop"
I was a bit confused by the signage?? It wasn’t very clear where I was supposed to go, and then the bag drop line took forever. Not the smoothest experience

"Good course, but the organization felt lacking"
The course itself was fine, and the volunteers were genuinely nice, which I appreciated. But packet pickup felt messy, and the info on the website was harder to follow than it should’ve been. The start area was way too crowded, and the post-race food ran out really quickly. For what they charged, I don’t think it’s right to cut corners on basics that runners are counting on. I expected a lot better.
"Challenging in the Right Way"
I ran the Route 66 Marathon and had a great time with the course. It’s definitely not flat, there are a few sneaky hills that show up when you don’t totally expect them, but if this race is anything to go by, a course doesn’t have to be flat to be enjoyable. Nothing felt ridiculous as long as you trained halfway decently. I liked that it kept me working without making me miserable, and all the turns and different streets made it feel way less boring than some races. My legs were absolutely cooked afterward, but in the satisfying kind of way...

"I figured the post-race vibe would be…"
I figured the post-race vibe would be fun, but it ended up being even better than I expected. The beer was great, the music fit the mood perfectly, and everyone just seemed happy to hang out and celebrate after the race.

"Great medal, worth the hassle"
I’ll be honest, I usually end up complaining about race swag, and I complain even more when packet pickup is a mess, but this year was actually solid. The medal was awesome, had some real weight to it, and looked way better in person than I expected. The shirt fit good too, which I’m always complaining about because they’re usually weirdly sized. Even the extra swag was stuff I’ll actually use, not just random junk. Packet pickup was easy, thankfully, because I really hate when that turns into a long annoying process. Overall, I felt like it was definitely worth it.

"I’ll be honest, I was pretty…"
I’ll be honest, I was disappointed with the scenery on this route. I expected it to show off more interesting parts of Tulsa, but a lot of it just felt like random roads with not much going on. That said, a few stretches were kind of peaceful, even though they were also boring at the same time, if that makes sense. Some parts really dragged for me, but I can see how other people might not mind it or might even enjoy the simplicity. Overall, the race itself might be totally fine, but the course wasn’t something I’d be excited to do again

"Pretty okay, but snacks went quick"
The water stations were fine and easy enough to find, no real issues there. But the snacks ran out kinda early, which was a bummer tbh.

"Great race vibe, a little hard to find info"
I ran the Route 66 Marathon the people were probably the best part. There were locals out everywhere cheering, funny signs along the course, and the volunteers were really friendly the whole time. It kind of felt less like just a race and more like this big neighborhood thing, if that makes sense. I’m knocking off one star only because some of the info on the website was a bit annoying to track down, but overall the atmosphere was really great.

"Feeling ready for race weekend"
I signed up for the Route 66 Marathon, and I’ve been impressed with how clear the pre-race emails have been. All the important stuff like packet pickup, parking, and start times has been easy to find, without a bunch of extra clutter to dig through. As someone who likes to know the details ahead of time, it’s made me feel a lot more relaxed going into the weekend. Really appreciate how well they’ve kept runners updated.

"Bib pickup was okay, just a little slow"
The pickup line was moving slow, which was a bit frustrating at first. But the volunteers were really nice, so that helped. I did get my bib without any real issues, though I kept wondering if I was even in the right spot because the signs could’ve been clearer. Overall it worked out fine, just could have been a little smoother.

"Decent race, but the energy was uneven"
I ran Route 66 and, the crowd support was a bit hit or miss. There were definitely some fun spots where people were cheering and it gave me a nice boost, which I really appreciated. But there were also some long quiet stretches that felt kind of empty, and that was a little disappointing. It wasn’t a bad experience by any means, I just expected a bit more energy along the course. Still, I had a decent time overall

"Parking Was Shockingly Easy"
I was fully prepared for a total parking disaster, like circling forever and missing half the race, but it was way easier than I expected. The signs were super clear, the shuttle got us there really fast, and leaving afterward was surprisingly smooth too. I was basically ready to panic for no reason

"Pretty good overall"
Timing worked fine for me, and my result showed up not too long after I finished. The splits looked right too, which was nice. Site was little clunky on my phone, but overall it was good experience.

"Really Well-Organized Course"
I really enjoyed this course! Everything was laid out in a clear, organized way, which made it easy to follow along and stay on track. It felt smooth from start to finish, and I appreciated how straightforward the structure was.

"Well stocked and friendly"
Had a really good experience overall. There was plenty of water and snacks available, which was a nice touch, and everyone I dealt with was genuinely friendly. I had checked in with support beforehand and they basically said, “You’ll be taken care of,” and that pretty much matched how it went.

"Friendly Volunteers, Smooth Race"
the volunteers were super helpful and friendly the whole time. The water stops were really well organized and ran smoothly. The only small downside was waiting a bit at bag pickup, but overall it was a good experience
